Ensemble Scolaire Maurice-Tieche

Collonges

Founded in: 1936
Currently accredited by:
Our official mission statement:
The objectives of the establishment project are: A training which wants, in the respect of the programs of the National Education:
To develop the students’ capacity to learn by themselves ("learning how to learn").
Transmit knowledge and know-how at the best level for each student in the different disciplines, based on a dynamic of innovation and taking into account the training needs that constantly emerge from a world to be built.
To develop a savoir-vivre together through solidarity, mutual aid, listening and respect for differences.
To learn a sense of responsibility and autonomy and to become aware, beforehand, of the rights and duties of each person.
To promote hard work, rigour and honesty.
To make people aware that the culture of being rather than having demands respect for the whole person so that they can express themselves in confidence.
To value a healthy emulation and the taste for effort that students need to develop their potential.

Educational continuity:
The Ensemble Scolaire Maurice-Tièche is committed to a global (holistic) conception of education, from early childhood to adulthood; the same educational will founds the entire curriculum of a student, from Maternelle to Terminale.
While the Ensemble Scolaire Maurice-Tièche asserts its specificity in relation to other public or private school networks, it seeks complementarity with them.

Chaplaincy and/or awakening to the Christian faith:
It constitutes an essential service offered to all, students, teachers, parents and staff. This education based on Christian values wishes to contribute to making the pupils entrusted to us more confident in the future, open to the world and to others, more attentive to solidarity and to the spiritual life.
